Concert Viola – Romuald Henglewski
A master-crafted concert viola made in 2012, signed by renowned luthier Romuald Henglewski. This 423 mm instrument is built from premium, carefully selected tonewoods, ensuring excellent acoustic performance and durability.
The top plate is made from two-piece spruce with narrow, regular grain. The scroll, back, and ribs are crafted from high-quality maple. The instrument features a deep dark brown spirit varnish, artistically shaded along the plate edges, scroll, and f-hole contours.
It is fitted with an elegant boxwood set, a Varga-style chinrest, and a tailpiece with a white saddle. The pegs and end button are accented with white pins, adding a distinctive touch. The viola is equipped with a top-grade Despiau “three-tree” French bridge and strung with Pirastro Evah Pirazzi strings, known for their rich tone and quick response.
